Martin Desjardins (Composer-Feste’s Songs)
has designed for regional, Off-Broadway, and international
theatre. His designs include work for The Shakespeare
Theatre; Arena Stage; Center Stage; Folger Theatre; The
Huntington Theatre Co.; Roundhouse Theatre; Yale Repertory
Theatre; Actors Theatre of Louisville; Dallas Theater Center;
Williamstown Theatre Festival; and others. Off-Broadway
credits include Below the Belt and Gunshy. New
York credits also include North Atlantic and House/Lights with
The Wooster Group. International work includes R.E.M. at
FINN, Harstad, Norway, Embracing the Riddle at
the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Death of a Salesman at
the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. A eight-time
Helen Hayes Award (Washington, DC) nominee, Martin has
received Helen Hayes awards for A Midsummer Night’s
Dream with The Shakespeare Theatre, The Diary
of Anne Frank and columbinus with Roundhouse
Theatre. Martin is a graduate of the Yale School
of Drama.
