William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The Summer of 2011 is your chance to see Shakespeare’s most intense, concise and chilling play in his canon. Directed by Stephen Fried who brought Trinity Shakespeare’s summer 2010 hit, Much Ado About Nothing, this production is furious, ticking with tension, overflowing with magic, the fates, bloody deeds and ambition unbound. |

| In Shakespeare’s most frightening tragedy, three weird sisters, conjure and cajole Macbeth toward his fate to be the King of Scotland. With the help of Lady Macbeth, a bloody act leads Macbeth to a slippery slide toward his destiny, ending in sadness and sorrow and worry and madness. It is a rapid and exhilarating ride toward destiny. “Something wicked this way comes.” Macbeth is Shakespeare at his most compelling.
