MEGAN BEARD
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Megan Beard is a graduate of Texas State University and holds a BFA in Theatre. She has played many of Shakespeare’s ladies including Juliet, Desdemona, and Beatrice but also has enjoyed working on contemporary works like Frame 312, Betrayal, and Trifles. Recently, Megan worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and London School of Acting, culminating in a performance of Romeo and Juliet, and researching at The Birthplace Trust while in Stratford- Upon- Avon, England. Megan will also be acknowledged for her work in the upcoming publication Directing Shakespeare in America by Dr. Charles Ney. When not working in the theatre, Megan is a teacher in Carroll ISD and enjoys spending time with her husband of six months.
